Shortly after I made this post, went to bug Rebate about pension and not gave a shit about what happens to the release, some people made some mad comments and Rebate_war tried to ease them by explaining, but he failed anyway. So, on this nice Saturday, I was just being cool as usual, and someone told me there were retarded comments and I should check.

So, let’s get down to business.

Explanation

We pick up any project that the staff like on a whole. Being on some other groups’ “to-do-list” does not stop us from picking a project up. We are aware that several groups, like JPzRecords and Erobeat aren’t happy that we’re stealing their projects, but it’s not like we can. Having a project on your page does not mean someone else will not pick the series up. This isn’t commercial licensing, there are no ethics involved, you can’t just seal off a project by adding it to your page. You can call us bitches or anything, but in the end we’re just fans picking up projects that we like. It’s not like we’re stopping you from picking up stuff which we’re going to do, or have already done either.

Fans think that we are picking up projects that other groups, particularly erobeat, are doing on purpose. This is not true. Some staff had wanted to do, say Rin x Sen 02, for ages, but have held off doing it because we thought erobeat was going to do it. But, we got fed up with waiting and decided to do it anyway. Do note that we only did the episode which wasn’t done, not what they already did. If we were really inclined on sabotaging them, we would do the entirety of that series, or any of the over overlapping projects.

Leechers believe that we should pick up shows which no other group is doing so that they get more subbed OVAs, but only they stand to gain from everyone doing that, we don’t. Like I said, this isn’t commercial licensing, we’re just doing stuff that we like. We don’t have to pick up a show that we don’t like just because someone else announced stuff that we wanted to do on their project page and stalled it for 6 months.

Hmmmm…. said: Not to start a war here, but I thought u guys were not gonna step in each others toes, meaning u and Erobeat. From what I’ve seen, u guys have taken sum of their projects and subbed it before they did. I hope this doesn’t start sum kind of war or anything. Both groups are excellent. I know Ero is a bit slower in subbing than u guys, but I just hope no issues are started. Both groups rock and I would be lost without either one. Thanxz for the multiple releases. U guys rule!

Like the explanation said, we didn’t really /step/ on each other’s toes, we just did stuff that they haven’t done because it’s silly to pick up something else which we might not like just because they have Rin x Sen on their project page.

You can always choose to hold off fapping until Erobeat has released. We don’t force you to watch our version, you can wait for Erobeat. You speak as if there’s some sort of ethic behind something already illegal and that we should follow your holy bible of ‘picking up stuff nobody else has on their project page so us leechers can have everything subbed.’ We haven’t done anything wrong, you’re just overreacting from us picking up something which isn’t translated yet, not something already done. If we did do something erobeat already done, then that would be stepping on their toes, like someone above said. Your stupidity is showing.

Alright, I got bored, so I had an idea. As some people in the IRC chan know, I love making vague references to movies quite often. So I thought of a little game.

Every so often, I’m going to change my avatar on here to something from a favorite movie of mine (the one now doesn’t count, although kudos if you do get it). It can be anything: a character, a backdrop, maybe even a blank pic save for a line from the movie. First person to correctly tell me the name of the movie gets a prize. What’s the prize? Well, it’s a secret for now.

Keep a close eye out, because I’m not going to announce when I change the picture. Either post your guesses in the comments here or PM me on IRC. I’ll go ahead and say that the first one will be pretty easy. Let the game begin!

BT Edit: Also, important note. The game will be suspended until the previous winner’s show has been finished. So, if I’m working on a show at the moment, I may change avatars on a whim. Just wait until the show I’m on is done, and then I’ll give you guys another go. Also, these are gonna take a bit longer than the usual stuff, considering I’m doing these myself in my spare spare (that’s not a typo) time. But I promise you they will be done.

Recently, I’ve seen much of our releases available at several websites which we aren’t credited for. The fantastic thing is, the quality of the raws suck, and the scripts have been poorly extracted from our releases and hardsubbed for streaming. No recognition for fonts or logo’s. In some cases they put watermarks in, advertising themselves.

Even more of a bonus, they’re wanting “donations” to run these servers, one case they’ve said they need at least about $250 a month to run the site.

Alas, a pirate cannot sew another pirate for something that’s not theirs. However, we believe that we should have some say in the subs which has been soft subbed in the .mkv containers we release along with video and audio. For convenience?  Sure. The legal disclaimer of these sites are similar to ThePirateBay, stating that they don’t posses these videos, they just simply make it available through their website.

Some things that we’re not happy are… 1. We’re not being credited for our work 2. We’re losing traffic, decreasing the potential donations 3. Our subs are mangled and are poorly done.

Must be easy for these people who take our stuff. Download raws, re-encode to a crappy hardsub with extracted subs and upload. Also, make a bit of pocket money by advertisements and “donations.”

I’m not saying that we want more donations, that isn’t the purpose of this post. Frankly I don’t care if it benefits the anime community and we can have just enough to get by. However, it would be nice if we were credited, and if other people didn’t make too much money off it without anything in return.

Just spreading the word guys, I know it can’t be it really can’t be helped, but just letting our loyal community know.

We’re currently discussing how we can deal with these affairs.

It has come to my attention that some of you are shouting at me, whether due to the reason you think I’ve quitted despite the post reading ‘refused to work’, due to the bad DAR on the muxing, or due to the bad quality encodes.
Nothing is my fault.

The bad quality encodes are due to the fact that hentai raws, contrary to popular belief, are not easily available, and we have to work with the only ones which are available, usually 120fps divx raws in avi containers. EROBEAT collects money for purchasing DVDs via advertisements, donations, paying for requests, etc. We don’t. So unless you’re going to buy the DVD, decrypt it, upload the DVDISO for us to work with, deal with the quality, stop crying.

The wrong DAR muxing was due to the fact that the guy who muxed was ignorant of the fact that the raw was supposed to be anamorphic, and he didn’t check. Since he’s lazy, I can’t be bothered to patch his work for him, it can’t be helped.

For the ‘refused to work’ drama, it can’t be helped. I was already dealing with tons of BDs/DVDs/TV series/Real-Life shit, and since they shit-talked me, they automatically get lowest priority for the projects then, that’s why Stringendo 6 was delayed. It can’t be helped either.

So, please stop commenting about the raw quality and stuff, because unless you’re going to provide us with a DVDISO, or if the DVDISO / BDMVs are available on the internet, this is continuing.

someone says : No offense but you guys were using pretty crappy RAWs anyway, there was no need to re-encode them in the first place, you can simply mux your subs with the already-encoded RAW and be done with it instead of wasting time and effort re-encoding the crappy RAW…

If your previous encoder still has the base scripts it has been using for the other releases I can use them for your future releases or you could just I guess teach me to encode as I’ve forgotten how to do so since the last time I timed/encoded for a anime group.
P.S. Some websites are taking your H releases/subs and putting it as there own via streaming website or just adding the group/website tag replacing the [subdesu] with whatever. Just a heads up. Guess why we can’t have nice things these days.

Every single shitty share raw is different, a ‘magic fix it all’ script does not exist.
Also, I’m not hardsubbing any ugly watermark just to ‘stop’ them from claiming credit. Then again, it’s the internet, everything is a copy paste of a copy paste. Deal with it.

HD and SD are the same, you just change the resolution. Also, thanks for the idea, I’m doing it now.

For a translator, we are in need of someone who are wiling to work and share the loads with me. Preferably, not in many other groups. Experience is not necessary, but possession of decent Japanese and English is required. Highly sort for position at the moment.

Seems I’ve got a couple of bored staff’s on my hands who are also huge fun’s of H-Animes and so that brings us to our current situation. Well we (  I mean me ) won’t promise you anything but we will do our best to sub all the good stuff out there, being old or new that needs subbing. Am sure the brains behind this whole new project will tell you more about this as time goes on.
